Welcome to Eclectic Threads. We are a vintage to modern consignment shop located in Arlington, Virginia approximately 2 miles west of Washington, DC and very close to the Clarendon area. We specialize in women’s vintage clothing and accessories but carry modern items as well. We have a large selection of furs, hats, gloves, shoes, scarves, hankies, jewelry and purses at very reasonable prices. We also carry old "Life" magazines, vintage advertisements, hat- boxes and antique linens.
Our consignors and customers are fashion consumers. They know quality and style. They realize how poorly made and expensive new clothing can be. At Eclectic Threads, we think fashion should be eclectic and fun yet affordable. Labels are not our main concern. We look for quality items that have a unique look and style. Conservative suits, dresses, slacks and blouses are not our thing. We try to stock funky, trendy or original pieces especially vintage items (anything 20 years or older). Come in and update your wardrobe and consign those items you’re tired of seeing in your closet. It’s a great way to recycle clothing without breaking the bank!

We are also honored to be featured in the "Washingtonian" as part of a consignment shop piece coming out in summer 2008. We have been featured in "Lucky" magazine, "The Washington Post" (twice) recently due to a visit from Jenna and Barbara Bush and featured in "Virginia Living" as one of the best places to visit in Arlington, Virginia.
We were also chosen by WTOP and featured as part of a consignment shop program discussion which aired December 9, 2007.
